EXPERIENCE
National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C. – 2009
Emerging College Artist: Spent one week conducting research on Karuk artifacts in the NMAI collections, NMAI Photo Archives, National Museum of Natural History collections, and National Anthropological Archives. Conducted presentations of my artwork for the public and NMAI staff. Received artist training through First People's Fund and also created an artwork connected to my visit upon returning home.
Silver Fox Productions, Seattle, WA – 2009
Design Intern: Summer internship with in-office training in PowerPoint template application and file management protocols. Final phase involved travel and work as an on-site vendor at two major annual Microsoft conventions providing file intake services and presentation support for speakers.

Bibliographic Research Assistant: Worked remotely for a previous professor on a grant project for the Native Eyes Distance Learning Program that involved compiling and analyzing sources for research topics and entering information into an online database.

Peter A. Krueger Intern, Wallcoverings Department: Prepared wallcoverings collection for move to new location by assisting with inventory of items and creating acid-free containers for objects as needed. Generated research on American wallpaper manufacturers from the mid-1800’s through the 1930’s for a curatorial project.
